In August 2023, IWC Schaffhausen expanded its Professional Pilot’s Watches Program—rooted in decades of aviation heritage—with the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 “Black Aces” (IW326905). This model marks the first time IWC has applied a fully luminous white dial to its Pilot’s Watch series, a feature originally developed in collaboration with U.S. Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 41 (VFA-41 “Black Aces”).

Design & Aesthetics

• Case & Finish:

  • Material: Matte black zirconium oxide ceramic, chosen for its scratch resistance and non-reflective surface, ideal for minimizing glare at high altitudes.
