3K Factory Nautilus 5811/1G, 41mm, Asian 330SC Movement, Made 1:1 with reference to a Genuine!

Quick Take: Is 3K Factory’s New Nautilus 5811/1G White Gold Edition Worth It?

In this hands-on review, we test the 3K Factory’s fresh release of the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811/1G-001 in white gold, mirroring Patek’s October 2022 sporty-elegant Nautilus collection. 3K Factory’s version arrives with the updated micro-adjustable clasp and their in-house “330” integrated movement. Let’s dive into its fit, finish, and mechanics to see whether it lives up to the hype.

Case, Dimensions & Weight

  • Size: Caliper readings confirm a 41 mm diameter and 8.2 mm thickness—identical to the genuine model’s footprint.

  • Weight: At 126 g, it’s slightly lighter than the factory white-gold original (which uses solid gold versus 316L steel here), but the wear-on feel remains true to the design.

Dial & Crystal

  • Crystal: Genuine-grade sapphire with crisp clarity and neatly beveled edges.

  • Dial Hue: The signature blue sunburst dial is well executed, though the factory’s gradient fade is a touch lighter at the edges. A richer navy tone would nail the color match perfectly.

  • Finishing: The sunburst brushing is precise, hands are polished smoothly, and the applied indices and hands feature uniform, robust luminescent filling. Typeface and printing are sharp, and the dial’s relief adds pleasing depth.

Case Construction & Crown

  • Gehäuseaufbau: Faithful two-piece 316L steel design, matching the genuine two-part Nautilus case rather than the older three-part 5711 style—proof of careful detail work.

  • Crown: Screw-down with a crisply embossed Calatrava cross. Operation is smooth: unscrew counter-clockwise, wind clockwise, pull one click for date, two clicks for time. Note: unlike the genuine 5811, this version does not hack (the seconds hand keeps running).

Bracelet & Clasp

  • Bracelet: 316L steel with polished center links and brushed outer links—solid and true to the original’s feel.

  • Clasp: The factory faithfully reproduces Patek’s new micro-adjustable folding clasp, complete with two pull-out extension segments and an extended tongue for added comfort.

Caseback & Movement

  • Display Back: Sapphire display back with proper white-gold hallmarks on the inner lugs.

  • Movement: 3K’s “324” integrated caliber rebadged as “330”—not a true Caliber 330, as slight differences in the winding wheels and ratchet wheel reveal. Otherwise, it closely follows Patek’s genuine Caliber 324 architecture, explaining the perpetual-motion seconds (no hack function).

Verdict

If you’re eyeing the new white-gold 5811, 3K Factory’s rendition nails nearly every dimension and detail. Its minor drawbacks—slightly off dial gradient, non-hacking seconds, and lighter steel weight—may not matter to many. If you value exact color matching, hack-seconds, or precious-metal heft, the genuine or a classic 5711-style replica might suit you better. Otherwise, this 5811/1G homage is a compelling pick.
