VSF Factory Rolex Submariner 126613LB Gain Weight Yellow Gold Two Tone Blue Ceramic 904L Steel 1:1 Best Edition VS3235 V2 Version!

[Review] VS Factory 126613LB "Bluesy" V2: The Weighted King is Here
VSF has just raised the bar again with the V2 Weighted Edition of the 41mm Submariner 126613LB. This isn't just a minor tweak; it’s a direct response to the "weight-weenies" in the community who felt the V1 was too light to pass the "hand-test."
1. The Weight Gap: Closed.
The biggest "tell" on gold reps has always been the weight.
  • The Stats: V1 sat around 140g, which felt like a standard 904L steel sub. The V2 clocks in at ~180g.
  • The VSF Approach: Unlike budget factories that just slap on 2-3 extra links to cheat the scale (ruining the taper and fit), VSF redesigned the mid-case and center links using a higher-density custom alloy. It keeps the gen-spec dimensions while providing that critical "Gen-like" heft.
2. "Naked Steel" is a Thing of the Past
The "Bluesy" nightmare is seeing silver steel peeking through the link gaps when the bracelet curves.
  • Individual Link Plating: VSF plates each link before assembly. This ensures full gold coverage on the sides and hinge points. No "white spots" or exposed steel gaps here.
  • Plating Hue: The gold tone is spot-on—not that "cheddar cheese" yellow or copper-red found on low-tier reps. It’s a soft, 18k-matching pale gold.
3. Dial & Bezel: Macro-Level Precision
  • Sunburst & Rehaut: The blue sunburst dial is arguably the best in the game, reacting beautifully to different lighting. The rehaut engraving is deep, clean, and perfectly aligned with the minute markers.
  • The Bezel: The ceramic insert has a high-quality "Liquid White" (off-white) lume pip. The click feel is tactile and mechanical, with zero backplay.
4. Movement: The GOAT 3235
Inside is the Dandong 3235 clone—the undisputed king of rep movements.
  • V2 Upgrade: This version standardizes the 27-jewel bearing system. It’s quieter, more efficient, and more durable than the hybrid versions floating around previously.
  • Specs: True 72-hour power reserve, instant date flip at midnight, and a rock-solid beat rate. This is as close as you get to a "set it and forget it" rep movement.
5. Verdict
The VSF 126613LB V2 is essentially a NWBIG (Not Worth Buying In Gen) contender. By fixing the weight without sacrificing the 12.2mm profile, they’ve removed the last major hurdle for this model.
  • Go for V2 if you want the "Precious Metal" feel on the wrist.
  • Stick to V1 only if you have a sensitive wrist and prefer a lighter daily beater.
