Since 2017, Panerai has been an esteemed partner of the Luna Rossa racing team, producing a series of limited-edition watches to honor the championship-winning sailboat racing syndicate. To mark the renewal of this partnership and the anticipation surrounding the 37th America’s Cup set to take place in Barcelona in 2024, Panerai has unveiled the new limited-edition Luminor Luna Rossa PAM1342.

The Luminor Luna Rossa PAM1342 showcases a modern interpretation of nautical style, featuring a lighter color profile compared to previous Luna Rossa editions. Encased in polished stainless steel, the 44mm watch includes the iconic lever-operated crown protecting bridge on the right-hand side. With a simple smooth fixed bezel surrounding the domed sapphire crystal and a screw-down stainless steel caseback, the PAM1342 offers 100 meters of water resistance.

The standout feature of the watch lies in its crisp white dial, crafted in Panerai's signature sandwich style construction. Contrasting against the white surface are gray Super-LumiNova markings and a vibrant red seconds hand at the 9 o'clock position, matching the red stripe on the bi-material gray strap adorned with the Luna Rossa logo.

Powering the PAM1342 is the Caliber P.6000 movement, a manually-wound mechanical caliber offering a 3-day power reserve. Despite lacking some advanced features, the Cal. P.6000 provides reliable performance suitable for daily wear.
