HWF Panerai - PAM754 Radiomir Black Seal Best Edition Black Dial on Black Calf Strap A6497

Panerai Radiomir Black Seal Logo PAM00754 – Review

Overview & Design

The PAM00754, released in 2018 as the successor to PAM00380, embodies Panerai’s heritage in a sleek 45 mm polished stainless steel cushion case with classic wire lugs and a 100 m water resistance rating. It features a matte black dial with printed luminous Arabic numerals at 3–6–12 and a small seconds subdial at 9, all topped with the OP double-arrow logo at 6 o’clock.

Movement & Specs

Powered by Panerai's in-house Calibre P.6000, a hand-wound movement offering 72-hour power reserve, 21,600 vph frequency, and Incabloc shock protection, this movement is robust, service-friendly, and built with reliability in mind. The case is about 12.7 mm thick with a 27 mm lug width. The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant but lacks a display back.

Strap & Wearability

Standard models come with a black or dark-brown leather strap (26→22 mm) fastened with a polished pin buckle. The large wire-lug design makes changing straps easy play. Despite its 45 mm size, owners find it flatter and more wearable than expected, especially after swapping to a softer strap.

Market Position

  • Launch MSRP: approx. €3,900–4,200 / $3,900–4,200

  • Secondhand Prices: Typically between $3,150–4,600 for watch-only and up to ~$5,900 for full-set, with strong resale liquidity due to its accessible pricing.

Community Feedback

Owners appreciate the clean, vintage-style dial and reliable movement:

“I’ve been drawn more and more to the style… it sits well… shape and size people will love or hate”.
Many note how quickly the watch becomes comfortable even on smaller wrists. Strap customization, such as suede or exotic skins, are common enhancements.

Pros & Cons

Pros      Cons
Iconic Radiomir design with clean “Logo” dial       45 mm case may be too large for slender wrists
In-house P.6000 hand-wound calibre with 72 h reserve      No hacking seconds or see-through case-back
Affordable entry into Panerai with strong resale value      Manual winding and no date function may deter some users
Wide strap compatibility and customizability      Finish and lume quality can vary slightly between production batches

The PAM00754 Radiomir Black Seal Logo captures Panerai’s vintage diver spirit in a minimalist, practical package: a hand-wound movement, classic design, and approachable price. Its 45 mm size wears more comfortably than expected due to its thin profile and wire lugs, and its customization-friendly strap options enhance its appeal.
